alt I first heard about the way of the spirit in a small tent in the middle of a field about two years ago. It was my first time at Faith camp and I was covering The Way Of The Spirit seminar as a reporter for the radio station. As the seminar began, I could tell straight away that this was not just an ordinary bible study, but that it had a real anointing and the Holy Spirit was using it to change people’s lives.

At the time, I was looking for material to use with some of the young people back in my church, and thought that it would be fantastic to use with them. I asked Pastor Richard if there was a youth version, and when he replied that there wasn’t, I was quite disappointed. I spoke to him at the end and he asked if I would look at the first course, The Call and the Cross, to see if I had any ideas. As I looked through, I could see so much potential and knew that the young people would really benefit from something like this, and I emailed him over a few ideas. He was really happy with them, and asked that I continue. So I did.

alt I wasn’t really aware of what I was doing, or what I was producing, but I adapted the course and trialled it with my youth group at home in Worcester. They loved it and we saw God do a huge amount in each one of the young people taking part. It was different because there were no rules! There was no “yes” or “no”, there was no right answer or wrong answer. As they began to learn how listen to God, and tune their hearts into what he was saying, discussions flowed, opinions challenged, encouragements streamed from them, and they just grew! I knew that God has his hand on this course, and I began to look at editing what I had done with Joy and Cheryl, looking at whether this could be used on a wider scale.

I had no idea if it was the right thing to be doing, but the Lord kept bringing me back to Psalm 119:9 “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.” I knew that he wanted young people to have access to this tool so that they could live according to his word. After months of proof reading, editing, redesigning, and discussions, we finally have our finished copy and cannot wait for it to be launched!

This is an anointed course and I am so excited for it to be available to a wider audience. I am really encouraged by the testimonies of those young people that I know have benefited from this course already, and am anticipating more hearts being touched by this journey of discovery, The Way of the Spirit, The Call and the Cross, Youth Version.

We Offer Life

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. (Romans 7:6)

'The Way of the Spirit' is far more than just the title given to a Bible Reading Course, for it has to do with life and freedom and everything that Christ came to give us in the Church through the working of his Holy Spirit.

The Church

For too long it has been thought that proper Bible training is only for those who have the opportunity to attend Bible school or university, but such thinking has spoiled our love for the Word of God itself.

Jesus never required his disciples to get degrees, but he did teach them from the Scriptures and they loved it. And they became excellent teachers.

The Holy Spirit

"The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.

In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say, 'This is a great revival.' But the Lord says, 'No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.'
