7 July The Promised Holy Spirit

The days run from 10am-4pm. 
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
A free will offering will be taken to cover expenses and for ongoing work of The Way Of The Spirit.

Directions: We are about 2-3 miles from the M25 and the Dartford tunnel/bridge. At J1A on M25 take A206 sign posted Erith and Crayford, continue to follow signs towards Erith, then Slade Green.

Background Introduction
In 2004, it was as if God thrust me into the Way of the Spirit annual Autumn Bible Conference.

I did not know anything at all about the ministry but I was searching for the TRUTH. My life then was in the bottomless pit and I needed to get out fast.  I did not know what praying in tongues was all about but at the conference the word and the spirit came together and the only way I can describe it is that it was like the veil was taken away and for the first time I started to speak in tongues. It created in me a hunger to know the real God.

I have not looked back since then, this hunger has continued and has led me to study the 4 main books of  Way of the Spirit Bible  Reading Course and most of the short books….then to do the Part Time Teacher’s and Advanced Teacher’s Courses.
It has been wonderful to belong to the Way of the Spirit family.

God continues to transform my life, though it has not always been easy.  I have gone through seasons of pruning, fruitfulness, testing of my faith and storms etc. but in all these I have learnt to fix my eyes on the prize that awaits me.
I know that at the moment I am just nibbling what God has for me; can you imagine if I take a big bite?  There is so much more, to God be the glory!

We Offer Life

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. (Romans 7:6)

'The Way of the Spirit' is far more than just the title given to a Bible Reading Course, for it has to do with life and freedom and everything that Christ came to give us in the Church through the working of his Holy Spirit.

The Church

For too long it has been thought that proper Bible training is only for those who have the opportunity to attend Bible school or university, but such thinking has spoiled our love for the Word of God itself.

Jesus never required his disciples to get degrees, but he did teach them from the Scriptures and they loved it. And they became excellent teachers.

The Holy Spirit

"The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.


In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say, 'This is a great revival.' But the Lord says, 'No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.'
