The Way of The Spirit Ipswich

Welcome to The Way of The Spirit Ipswich. We are a group, a family of believers in Jesus seeking to live out the life of a disciple of Christ and to make disciples of those God brings to be part of the family.

We seek to do this through reading and study of his word together with the inspiration and illumination of the Holy Spirit. We come together to receive revelation from God through the Word, the Holy Spirit and each other expectant that God will speak to us.

When we began to pray together as a team we received pictures and words confirming the vision we believe God has given us. Our vision is to bring the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to Ipswich and the surrounding area, to provide an opportunity for people to come and engage with the vision, to receive from the Lord and then to take that back to where they live. For the training centre to be a beacon that not only draws people but also is a place where people come and can light their own torch.

We sense too we are to be a shaft of light shining into this area and a catalyst for spiritual change.

Ipswich has a strong history of believers standing up for their faith, for what they know is the true gospel, the true message of God. There is a statue erected in one of the town’s parks to commemorate nine of those, both men and women who were martyred for their faith during the 15th century. This is part of our spiritual heritage and something to be built on and revived.
