A Revivalist and Nation-changer

Speaker: Ingrid Macmillan

Date: March 2022

At the beginning of the 18th century, Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf was born in Germany. Influenced by the strong faith of his grandmother, he grew up with a love for Jesus. On a trip around Germany, he had an encounter with God as he stood in front of a painting of the Passion of Christ. This propelled him forward to serve Jesus in a new way and a refuge for Christians persecuted for their faith was started. Springing from this was one hundred years of prayer and the first protestant ministry to send out missionaries across the world.
